Expectation Adjustment to Sooth the Nervous System

Hello Connect Balance Grow Tribe

Well I did it! Got my Christmas Letter written, printed & cards sent off. It feels more like Christmas now that job is done. It’s been a week of ending & tying up loose ends as we head towards the close of the year. It was Helena’s last day of Kindergarten on Tuesday, we had a Christmas afternoon tea & catch up for Parent Place where I volunteer on Wednesday & yesterday I spent the day with Beck from https://www.facebook.com/practicallypermie/ cleaning, sorting & tidying our playgroup space. It’s been busy. I’ve found myself adjusting my expectation to lower my stress levels & keep my nervous system as relaxed as possible. It can be so easy to get worked up try to meet our unrealistic expectation of ourselves & others. I love the note to self in the picture included with this post, “I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment. And that is all I can expect of anyone, including me!” Each of us are doing exactly what we should in any given moment, comparisons & unachievable to-do lists are not assisting us to be in our own individual magic of the moment.

The Reiki Two Course that I held at Eurambeen Historic Homestead & Gardens https://www.facebook.com/EurambeenHistoricHomesteadAndGardens/ last weekend was even more magical that I had expected it to be. The combination of beautiful, high vibe souls who attended & the space we were in alchemised the energy & the level of our learning. There was lots of Reiki practice & much laughter from us. I can’t wait to see where my students develop, take & share their Reiki experiences. I am so grateful that I get to teach & share Reiki with others, creating & holding the space to do it in is so special to me.

This week in clinic it has been all about Reiki. I’ve had some lovely clients enjoy their Christmas Special Reiki sessions. Some have experienced Kinesiology before but not Reiki. I love allowing the Reiki Energy to work on them as it needs to, clearing, integrating & balancing. The look on their faces & feelings in their bodies, minds, emotions & spirit afterwards is just the best!

I want to take this opportunity to thank each & everyone of you for your love & support in 2019 & I am looking forward to continue being of service to you in 2020. I would also like to remind you that Monday the 23rd December is my last day in clinic for this year. I will be back, ready to rock & roll on Monday 20th January next year.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday & be fantastically kind

Have a great weekend
