The Mess of the Healing Crisis

Hello Connect Balance Grow Tribe

I am coming to you this week from sunny Adelaide 🌞 I am heading up to the river this weekend for Flourish Kinesiology Camp & I am excited for all the learning & up-skilling that I am going to experience & then be able to share with you!

This week I wanted to have a chat about the Healing Crisis. Sometimes the healing work we do is not all shiny rainbows & unicorns. When we are working at the root cause of our dis-ease it is usually ugly, messy, uncomfortable & down right yucky. It can be a slow & unfolding process that takes time & often we can feel worse than we did before we began healing.
Yet this is where the magic takes place, where we release & gain relief.

The reason I am bringing this up is that one of my clients got back to me this week after her Reiki Treatment last week. She told me that she had cried for nearly three days straight following the session but it was such a relief & she is feeling good now. I felt that when I was holding space for her that she had a lot of emotional stuff to release & that the Reiki was making way for this to occur.
A couple of my Reiki students have also experienced some discomfort since their attunements on Sundays as the energy integrates within their physical bodies. Whatever we experience is exactly what we need to fund the balance & harmony we need.

I love this quote from the book I am currently reading If Women Rose Rooted by Sharon Blackie “Finding your true self can be long & hard, filled with stops & starts, twists, turns & unexpected dead ends. Is the search ever over? There always seems to be a new layer to uncover. Sooner or later, no matter how clearverly we try to hide ourselves, to turn away from the truth, we are called to change. To wake up, & to see, & to take responsibility. To claim our power, & to participate in the remaking of the world”.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday & be fantastically kind.

Have a great weekend.
