Friday Check-in Packing for Bali & Slowing Down

Hello Connect Balance Grow Tribe

I’m starting to get excited! Sunday morning I hop on a plane & leave for Bali for a 5 Day Yoga Retreat. A wonderful friend invited me to come along with her & we’ve been planning & anticipating it since the beginning of the year. So, is my bag packed? Mostly, which I am pretty proud of, packing is not my strong point. Hubby & the girls are also off for a week to Mildura so we need to get them pack too. Gosh, I still can’t believe that I am going to have a whole week to do the things that I really enjoy. Not just Yoga but personal development workshops, meditation, chill out time, journaling, sound meditation, women’s circles & did I mention massage! I am going into the experience with an open mind & the intension that whatever I need to get out of it I will receive. Some clarity around what is coming up next for me would be a bonus. I can’t wait to share with you what comes up over the next week. Bring on the me time & self-care.

This week has been quiet workwise, I have still been recovering from the cold I came down with last Friday & Connie wasn’t well on Monday so I had to reschedule some clients to see them when I get back. I have had to pull out a few tools from my kit to get us through. Connie enjoyed some Reiki to help her rest & sleep, I’ve been using my Naughty Naturopath Mum flower essence blends, especially Slow Down & making a steam inhaler with my Plant Essential Oils, especially tea tree, thyme & lemon which has really helped to clear my head. I have also taken the time to slow down & take it easy, lots of time on the couch with the girls watching Moana & catching up on my book club reading The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, which I have finished just in time for our catch up tonight.

It looks like this is only going to be a short check-in this week, which is probably a good thing as I am hoping to have lots to share with you after next week. I had better go & finish packing!

Enjoy your Friday & be fantastically kind.

Have a great weekend.
